Starting with the better armed of the two, the HTC U19e comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 6-inch Full HD+ display, and a 3930mAh battery. If the first two items on the spec sheet sounds familiar, it’s because something similar did pop up on Geekbench earlier in April.

As for its cameras, the HTC U19e comes with a 12MP f/1.8 + 20MP f/2.6 telephoto combo at the back, and a 24MP f/2.0 + 2MP iris scanner combo in front. If you prefer a different biometric unlocking option, then you have the fingerprint sensor at the back. Moving on to the HTC Desire 19 Plus, we’re looking at a phone with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, a 3850mAh battery, and according to GSMArena, a 6.2-inch HD+ display. It also reportedly comes with two RAM and storage combo configurations, one being a 4GB + 64GB combo, and the other a 6GB + 128GB pairing.

It also has a triple camera setup, consisting of a 13MP + 8MP ultrawide + 5MP depth sensor combo. The front-facing 16MP camera also sits in a barely-visible water-drop notch. The HTC U19e is priced at NTD 14900 (~RM1974), and is already available in the Taiwanese market. On the other hand, the price of the HTC Desire 19 Plus starts from NTD9990 (~RM1323), and will be sold in Taiwan beginning next month. As of now, there’s no word of either phones leaving the country’s shores and into other markets. (Source: HTC via Pocketnow, GSMArena)
